Foundational is a company builder

We grow leaders who share our values. Around them, we build companies from scratch, or we acquire an existing business and take it further.Foundational School is how we grow our teams and leaders, and Foundational OS is our AI platform. Together they are the infrastructure behind every company we build.We have also opened up Foundational OS and Foundational School to companies beyond our own, supporting anyone who wants to transform their organisation.

Started
Foundational grew out of five years of organisational transformation work at The Lo & Behold Group, and out of the AI work of the past year.We wanted that work to extend to a larger surface area, so we started Foundational in partnership with the group, to build companies the way those years taught us.

People set a company's intention, values, and vision, so the right people come first. A company lasts when the people at its core share values, ambition, and motivation. We help these people grow, then build the organisation around them.Building a great organisation is a craft. We set that craft in Foundational School and Foundational OS, so every company we build begins with a head start.

01Anyone can build
The team on the ground is closest to the problem, understands it best, and cares most about it. Foundational OS lets them build tools to tackle those problems.

People and agents use your company’s knowledge and data through the Company Brain. Their contributions and use make it more useful over time. Company data stays on servers your company owns, not on a model vendor’s servers.
03Control from day one
Each person uses their own isolated remote computer through a browser, with nothing to install on their laptop or desktop.The Company Brain limits each staff member and agent to the company knowledge and data they need. Foundational’s own connectors limit which apps an agent can reach and which parts of each app it can use.
We turned what we learnt from implementing AI at The Lo & Behold Group into Foundational OS, to power the companies we build and to support others.

Each person works on their own remote computer, sandboxed and accessed from their browser. No local installation is needed. Your company owns its data. Zero Data Retention with the model provider can be arranged.The Company Brain gives each person and each agent only the knowledge and data they need. Foundational’s connectors limit an agent to selected apps, and to selected parts of those apps.

No. We have designed Foundational OS for non-technical staff across the company, whatever their role.
We are building custom connectors that give you finer control over what an agent can access. We currently support: Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack, Telegram.
